The European research and innovation platform for waterborne industries
WATERBORNE has been set up as an industry-oriented Technology Platform to establish a permanent dialogue between all waterborne stakeholders, including shipbuilders and maritime equipment manufacturers, and the EU Institutions, including Member States. The WATERBORNE TP contributes to the widest possible consensus on R&D and develops medium- and long-term R&D Visions and a Strategic Research Agendas (SRA) aiming at contributing to the EU’s ambitious policies, such as the European Green Deal, and societal challenges.
